About Us

IberoDocs – Scotland’s Ibero-American Documentary Film Festival – is a non-competitive, annual film festival that celebrates the diverse cultures of Latin America, Spain, and Portugal through creative documentary films.

Led by a team largely composed of immigrants, IberoDocs amplifies underrepresented voices and explores themes such as identity, memory, community and belonging—reflecting the many stages of the immigrant experience. Each edition features a carefully curated programme, with at least 50% of films premiering in Scotland for the first time, showcasing a vibrant mix of emerging and established talent.

Our Commitment to Fair Work First

At IberoDocs, we are dedicated to advancing the principles of Fair Work First. We strive to ensure fair pay, promote equality and diversity, encourage employee voice, and provide good working conditions across all levels of our organisation. By embedding these criteria into our recruitment, management, and operational practices, we aim to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment for everyone.

Accessibility & Inclusion

IberoDocs welcomes audiences of all ages, backgrounds, and interests. We aim to make our events as accessible as possible for everyone.

Some screenings are available with Closed Captions and/or British Sign Language interpretation. Additional accessibility details can be found on the websites of our partner venues.

If you’d like to discuss any specific access needs in advance, please don’t hesitate to get in touch—we’d be happy to help.
