After years of trying, stumbling, and precariousness, Kiko Veneno has given himself one last chance to make a living from music. The result is the resoundingly successful Spanish pop album ‘Échate un cantecito’. One Day, Lobo Lopez illuminates the process of creating the album and the characters that brought it to life, splitting its time between London and a rapidly transforming Seville.

The Glasgow screening will be followed by a filmmaker Q&A via Zoom with Alejandro Salgado and Kiko Veneno!
Alejandro is one of IberoDocs’ favourite filmmakers. His previous films, “Barzakh” and “Bolingo,” have screened in past editions. The festival also hosted Kiko Veneno in Edinburgh in 2018.
The Edinburgh screening is now SOLD OUT, but you can still book a ticket for just the party after the film with live music from Cumbiatones, a local psychedelic cumbia band, followed by Dj sets from Ma’jawell and Exterior. See page 11 of the digital brochure.
